COA Peer Reviewers demonstrated their expertise through their knowledge of COA standards as well as experience in the behavioral health field. In addition, COA’s seminars and tools were very helpful in guiding us through the accreditation process.
COA is a catalyst for change that builds on an organization’s strengths and helps it achieve better results in all areas. The Villages’ performance and quality improvement activities have been strengthened and integrated throughout administrative and service delivery processes, providing ongoing feedback to management and staff to ensure best practices. Service recipients and stakeholders have confidence that services meet the highest standards of care possible.

Serving as a Team Leader for COA has been an enriching experience in many ways. Utilizing the Contextual Accreditation process to discern the means in which agencies, offering a variety of services, located throughout the US, Canada ,the Philippines and other countries provide best and most promising practices to their consumers has been particularly rewarding. read more>>
