About COA

The Council on Accreditation (COA) is a not-for-profit, independent accreditor for the full continuum of community-based human service organizations in the United States and Canada. Today, more than 1800 organizations serving more than 7 million vulnerable individuals, children and families are members of COA’s 'Community of Excellence.' COA accreditation is supported by 25 national and international organizations, a cadre of over 1000 volunteers and an international board of trustees. To learn more, please visit us at www.coanet.org.

Mission

COA partners with human service organizations worldwide to improve service delivery outcomes by developing, applying, and promoting accreditation standards.

Vision

COA envisions excellence in the delivery of human services globally, resulting in the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.

Our Conference

COA’s National Conference is a triennial event bringing together over 500 leaders throughout North America. Our network includes decision-makers from child welfare, the behavioral health services field, public agencies, networks, financial education and counseling service organizations, employee assistance programs, opioid treatment programs, and after school programs.

Benefits of Sponsoring

Sponsoring COA’s 2009 National Conference provides your organization with visibility with over 500 leaders in the human service field. Your organization will be recognized during onsite events and in conference materials as specified within the individual opportunities. In addition, your organization will be declaring that the delivery of high quality human services is of the utmost importance.
